Use journalling to deepen your affirmation practice

Affirmation cards won’t create change in your life - but taking action because of them can!

That’s why we love incorporating journalling in our affirmation practice. Journalling helps you go a little deeper and really think about the steps you can take to make your new affirmations / thoughts a reality.

Here’s how you can do it at home:

  • Firstly, pick the affirmation card you want to work with.

  • Then, ask yourself - How can I feel more_____? What activities make me feel ______?  What actions can I take to make my affirmations a reality?

Here’s an example of journal prompts we’d create for these two affirmations:

I am calm and free. Through my breath, moments of peace are available to me at all times.

  • When do I most feel calm and free?

  • What activities calm my nervous system? Can I make time for at least one of these each and every day?

  • What’s one action step I could take right now to feel calm & free?

I love money and money loves me. I am worthy of an abundant, rich life and am actively taking steps to invest in my financial future.

  • What is my relationship with money?

  • What would an abundant, rich life feel like?

  • How can I start investing in my financial future?

  • What are my short-term and long-term financial goals?

  • What 3 actions can I take this week to feel more financially secure?

We hope these tips inspire you to give journalling a go. Remember, it is through action that change begins.

Here’s to living your most radiant life!
